SIV Highlights of 2009

- U2 brought their 360 degree tour to Don Valley Stadium in August for a crowd of over 50,000. Find out more>
- Lord Coe and Jessica Ennis opened a sporting hall of fame in November at EIS Sheffield. Find out more>
- It was a good year for awards; In March, City Hall Sheffield won Large Venue of the Year and the Grand Prix Prize at the Yorkshire Business Insider Awards. In July, SIV was recognised for its highest standards of Health & Safety. In October City Hall won the Business Tourism Award of the Year at Welcome to Yorkshire's White Rose Awards and have gone forward to the 2010 EnjoyEngland Awards. In December SIV secured the Customer Service Excellence Accolade at the Sheffield Business Awards.
- Darren Gough hosted a Charity day and evening with a golf competition at Beauchief Golf Course followed by fine dining and entertainment at City Hall Sheffield. Find out more>
